Four overnights per week overnight packing outgoing multiples items per package, rebining, inducting and working as the “water spider” for Amazon at the STL8 Fulfillment Center. Working in a fast-paced warehouse environment with minimal supervision, interfacing with Amazon’s supply chain system to ensure customer orders are complete and sent for delivery. Provided verbal input to direct supervisors on safety issues as needed and feedback via various reporting methods.

Supervised two full-time Support Coordinators and carried a caseload of 25-35 individuals, ages 12 and up, with Developmental Differences/Disabilities who received Missouri Medicaid Waiver services in Lincoln County Missouri. Completed quality assurance activities and oversight for the Service Coordinator’s work product. Attended trainings/meetings/advocacy groups related to developmental disabilities, legislative action related to consumer/family needs and attaining services as needed. Oversight of multiple services per individual on a monthly/quarterly/yearly basis. Created and monitored yearly budgets according to federal and state statutes, gaining competitive bids for approval of services and goods as required through a utilization review process. Member of several Disability specific advocacy groups. Monitored and implemented needed changes and safety improvements during the COVID-19 Pandemic by attending multiple weekly local, state and nationwide briefings and trainings. Training from VCU in Social Security Disability, Supplemental Security Income (SSDI/SSI); extensive work with Medicaid and Medicare interactions. Data collection and analysis for behavioral interventions on agreed upon training programs for individuals receiving paid services, based on Centers for Medicare/Medicaid Services and MO Department of Mental Health policies.

Coordinated, found and planned local community and governmental services and resources, products and goods for individuals with Developmental Disabilities as defined by the State of Missouri and the Department of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities. Carried a minimum caseload of 40 individuals, ages 7 and up, with a maximum of about 55. Completed monthly, quarterly and yearly oversight visits for paid Medicaid services and completed annual support planning for all individuals with their families and support teams, including staff, school districts and those involved with the care and support of the individuals. Provided advocacy as needed and/or requested on behalf of the individual or family in response to lack of support by a provider or support team/school. Attended various trainings and educational opportunities as available to increase the individuals’ ability to be more independent and remain in the community. Worked with local and state officials to develop services and supports as they were identified. Worked with team members to analyze and interpret collected behavioral data to plan and implement effective training strategies for life-long learning according to individual need and to improve overall independence or decrease reliance on paid and/or natural supports over time.

I began as a house painter with Cannon Builders in Troy, MO, completing new residential construction. I learned over six years: drywall taping and finishing; framing construction; finish carpentry including: cabinet installation, door installation, wall base installation; and basic home wiring with their in-house electrician. I also was utilized as a full-time carpenter with their commercial building business as the housing business slowed in 2008 and 2009. I was also utilized to resolve new home customer complaints as needed related to my specific skill sets. Worked with the managers and supervisors to schedule work and work flow and needed product. Met with product vendors as needed to discuss specific job needs, additional requests and changes is products to meet customer requests. Drove various company vehicles and was responsible for the care and cleaning of my company and personal tools.

Lead Fleet Service for ramp operations at the St Louis hub. Supervised 6-8 individuals per shift, two boarding gates and 10-12 daily flights, inbound and outbound. Managed movement of passenger baggage, US Mail, paid airfreight shipments, time-sensitive shipments and company air-freights, while maintaining an on-time departure schedule. Worked in all weather situations and completed quick turnaround as needed. Delivered local St Louis passenger bags in a timely manner and worked with other departments when needing to expedite passenger baggage for limited connection times. I was also utilized as a specialized push-back crew for airplane push back from certain gates with minimal ground space and clearance when occupied by larger aircraft. Worked independently as Lead Ramp Agent in the Cargo Department on the overnight shift, completing freight inventory, container inventory, US Mail staging for morning flights and customer delivery of late, inbound arriving US Mail and freight. Supervised periodic deep cleaning of aircraft and nightly safety and security checks of inbound overnight aircraft and cleaning of aircraft as needed based on the flight schedule and flight crew need. Worked with flight deck crews in arranging transportation of all hazardous materials. Maintained cleanliness and order of gate area to keep flow of traffic and delivery of baggage, freight and US mail in an orderly and safe manner and to reduce any chance of airplane damage or flight schedule disruption. Utilized the following motorized equipment: stand-up and sit-down forklifts, trucks and vans, tugs pulling up to four carts, aircraft push back and tow vehicles, diesel and gas fueling trucks, belt conveyors, lifts, bucket trucks, commissary trucks, riding and manual pallet jacks, and various gas and electric vehicles on a daily basis.
