Thomas has been instrumental in the successful delivery and acquisition of numerous various sized building projects covering the gamut from residential to industrial, public and educational programs including some large scale multi-million dollar construction jobs in the US as well as Germany. He has acted in small and large award-winning architectural studios in the US and Germany as team player and project lead, furthering the design effort while organizing teams and managing construction budgets with responsibilities including direct communication with private clients, universities and local governments including public presentations as well as mediation with user groups and city councils.Entering the field of architecture with a previous background in cinematography and film theory, during his architectural education Thomas has studied both in the United States and Germany. While spending time on research projects in Brazil, Japan and the US, he has learned a great deal about the cultural foundations of architecture. These experiences have sparked an interest for expanding a focus from architecture's singularity to the urban imperative. His skills cover the full bandwidth of the architectural scope through all architectural design phases, from schematic design to construction administration, including detailing, cost estimating, bidding, permitting etc. implementing a large palette of graphic and CAD applications including BIM.
