Responsible for managing and maintaining all operational aspects of the Medina facility including health and safety, productivity, cost control, quality and food safety and continuous improvement initiatives.　　Specific Responsibilities:Oversee the production process, ensuring quality, cost, and schedule targets are achieved.　Identify and lead initiatives where costs can be reduced and output can be maximized. Manage, direct and coordinate all activities related to multiple production shifts to maximize productivity and minimize cost while maintaining quality in a safe environment.Typically supervises 100+ employees per shift.Coordinates with Scheduler to ensure daily production requirements are achieved.Carries out supervisory responsibilities including interviewing, hiring & training employees; planning, assigning & directing work; appraising performance; rewarding & disciplining employees; addressing complaints & resolving problems.Ensures all production data is gathered and reported correctly on a daily basis.Supports & improves upon quality initiatives designed to meet plant goals.Directly supervises the manufacturing of Polypropylene, low-density polyethylene, high-density polyethylene and Polystyrene products (Foams Extrusion lines and Polystyrene Orienters).Support manufacturing process by monitoring flake/resin recipe and ensuring quality product is manufactured.Lead culture change and continuous improvement/5S/Kaizen events to improve key metrics on the manufacturing floor.

Led 4-person team managing operations for 200-person battalion. Directed scheduling/resourcing/execution of combat training for 100+ students monthly.- Led initiative to improve and modernize combat advisor training course; integrated current lessons from combat into change process; contributed to US troops' exit strategy from Afghanistan.- Developed system to manage resources for training; successfully completed despite 50% personnel turnover.

Planned/staffed logistics operations for 3,500-person regiment in Germany with 700+ vehicles. Led 8-person section in absence of regimental logistics officer.- Created logistics plan for complex humanitarian mission for US Army-Europe; ensured regiment's readiness.- Managed 248 financial liability investigations; re established accountability of assets after deployment to Afghanistan.

Led 92-person cavalry troop executing combat operations in Afghanistan for 12 months. Maintained and employed 28 Stryker fighting vehicles and over $60 million of property.- Synchronized operations with Afghan Police to secure 75+ square mile area; awarded Bronze Star Medal.-Developed/executed operations that averted deaths along roads where 7 US deaths occurred in month prior.- Led logistics to relocate troop to 8 areas in Afghanistan without Soldier loss or vehicle/equipment damage.

Managed supplies for 500-person cavalry squadron in Germany with 150+ vehicles. Provided unit life support while in field environment. Managed $100 million+ operational budget.- Planned and led successful deployment of 70 vehicles and 300 personnel to/from Romania with no losses.- Led "opposing force" during multi-national training; integrated disparate American and Romanian units into an effective team.

Led 3-person team advising 45 Afghan District Police.- Led team training Afghan Police to synchronize operations with security force units; awarded Bronze Star Medal.- Led 6-person US team during 8-week training course for 100+ Afghan Police; enhanced Afghan Police's operational proficiency.- Led team and advised Afghan Police force during 65 combat patrols; led to successful national elections in Nerkh District.

Advised 3 senior officers at Afghan Border Police national headquarters on logistics management/administration of 12,400 border police. Mentored 20 Afghan logisticians on accounting for $200 million of uniforms and $3 million of medical supplies to 20 subordinate units.- Monitored/advised proper distribution of $2 million of uniforms and $3 million of medical supplies to 10 units.- Managed logistics for successful movement of 600 border policemen and 20+ tons of supplies to Afghan units.- Attended 3-month training course for advisors at Fort Riley, Kansas, from September to December 2007.

Second in command of an 81-person motorized cavalry Troop. Managed $7.4 million property book. Directed maintenance of a 22-vehicle fleet. Managed the day-to-day operations of the unit.- Directed the turn-in of 550 lines of property and received 400 lines of property with 100% accountability, resulting the transformation of the unit from a heavy mechanized Troop to a light motorized airborne cavalry Troop.- Lauded by Commanders as "​#1 of 5 troop executive officers"​ and as a "top 10% officer with superb potential."

Led 26-person scout platoon with 6 Bradley fighting vehicles and $10 million + of property. Led an 18-person platoon with 5 tanks and $5 million + of property while executing combat operations in Iraq.- Led team partnering with Iraqi forces to stabilize an area in the Sunni Triangle; earned Bronze Star and Purple Heart.- Led 300+ combat patrols in the Sunni Triangle, providing security and assisting with development of local governance.- Led a maintenance program that enabled 40,000+ accident-free kilometers of combat operations while maintaining a 90% equipment readiness rate.

Led 4-person team with command/control of 751 people, 27 tanks, 41 fighting vehicles and 16 helicopters while deployed to Iraq, supporting units in contact with the enemy.- Selected out of 4 other officers to brief the commander of a 17,000-person Division daily on the unit's deployment readiness.
