Second Engineer with experience working on DP2 Vessels, since February 2018. I am fluent in English and have the right to work in the UK. Machinery experience: - Main Engines: Bergen (Rolls-Royce), MaK, Polar, Lister Blackstone.- Auxiliary machinery: CAT & Volvo Penta- Purifiers: Alfa Laval, Westfalia and Mitsubishi Skills and experiences of note:- Operating and maintaining Dynamic Positioning Class 2 systems (5+ years)- Experienced in problem solving of mechanical and electrical systems.- Utilising the Power Management System and Manual Methods of electrical load sharing- Ensuring all work is carried out to comply with ISM, Marpol & Classification Society- Involved and reviewing operations during dry docking of vessel in liaison with Chief Engineer & Superintendent- March '18 to August '18 assisted in the conversion of the Seabulk Asia/Putford Phoenix from a PSV to an EMRV - Using software packages including Sertica, Microsoft Office & AutoCad- Reading and understanding technical drawings- Operating DC electrical plant- Working in multi-cultural teams - Technical fault finding and networking of computers- Working with both UMS and watch-based operations- Experience working with various classification societies including ABS, Bureau Veritas & Lloyd's Since September 2017, I have acquired extensive experience in the maritime oil and gas industry working on a variety of EMRVs and I aim to progress to sail as a Chief Engineer.I am currently sailing as Second Engineer on an ERMV. Working in line with the company's SMS, I monitor all of the machinery while the vessel in underway or manoeuvring either in & out port or alongside a platform performing cargo operations including discharge of bulk liquids.Additionally, I ensure all documents and logs are correctly completed for all work undertaken.
