As Group Risk & Insurance Manager for Scan Global Logistics the primary tasks are the responsibility for managing the groups Insurance program and managing the Claims globally.The placement of insurances are made both directly and through brokers with policy programs for General Liability, D&O and Freight Forwarders Liability and local placement in Scandinavia for Property, Travel, Auto and Workers compensation Insurances.Claims from customers surrounding their goods are handled according to the freight agreement and the governing terms being NSAB2015, CMR, FIATA etc. and often also the applicable transport laws and conventions. Group claims are handled in cooperation with insurance companies and according to the governing policy terms, often in close cooperation with lawyers, surveyors and loss adjusters.As part of the legal team, also tasks surrounding M&A, contracts, compliance and other legal tasks are handled in cooperation with colleagues being legal counsels, management teams and colleagues from the operation worldwide.Previous work experience:Claims management within: Transport & Logistics, Cargo, Renewable Energy, H&M, P&I, Hull Interests, MII/MAP and Yard Liability Insurances. 24/7 Emergency telephone.
