I am a qualified Strength and Conditioning Coach/ High Performance Sport Assistant at St Monica’s College, Epping.My experience to date has been fulfilling several coaching roles across multiple schools prior to my time at St Monica’s, through which I obtained through being an athlete myself, and expertise in the area.My main role at St Monica’s working with 150+ elite student athletes across the college, under the watchful eye of my colleague and mentor Joel Hocking, former High-Performance Manager at the Carlton Football Club.Furthermore, I am responsible for programming and managing the strength/power/speed side of training, as well as guiding students in their maturation phase as they transition into elite athletes.​As a coach in my field, I am continually learning and understanding the foundations of a High-Performance environment, particularly in adolescent athletes who want to take the next step in their sport as this is such a fundamental and transitional phase for any elite athlete in the making. As a professional Track and Field athlete, I have developed an understanding of what it takes to run fast, but to widen my scope in this area I am currently commencing a bachelor’s degree in Sport Science.My long-term goal is to eventually coach at an elite level of sport in Australia or the United States of America.
