Over two decades of experience within the MI retail industry, split between roles in consumer retail, marketing and purchasing. I am currently responsible for the the retail operations at 5 of PMT’s(Play Music Today) 12 store locations, leading these store teams towards numerous commercial, financial and operational KPI’s. I have successfully managed these stores through an MBO, a global pandemic and am currently navigating them through a reformatting project as the business pivots to recognise a change in the retail landscape and to best support our ever growing, specialist consumer demographic. Previous held roles as an Associate Procurement Manager(PMT) and Head of Marketing(Westside Distribution) have given me a unique understanding of all channels within the operations of an omni-channel retailer and have helped me succeed in my current position. I am always looking to develop and improve my skillset and have added relevant qualifications/expertise (HSE Risk Assessment, ACAS Management, Mental Health First Aid) which have proved invaluable in my current role. In my personal life I have been incredibly fortunate to have travelled globally whilst touring with bands both as a musician and as a member of crew with artists such as Bastille, Motley Crue, Keane and Iggy Pop. I am a deeply competitive individual and took up golf in the first pandemic. Committing to lessons, practice and playing, I am currently off a handicap of 10.5 in 2 years.My health and fitness are incredibly important. I have regular PT sessions which hold me accountable in sustaining a level of fitness and conditioning which have hugely benefited both my mental and physical well-being.
