Currently, I am the Lead Business Unit Leader in the South Plant responsible for the Manufacturing and Production in the Cylinder Block, Crankshaft, Cylinder Head, Cylinder Head Sub-Assembly and Engine Assembly lines. As the AM Pillar Lead and Specialist, I am responsible for coordinating all AM activities complex wide. This includes but is not limited to the following AM Model Areas, AM Expansion Areas, related AM training, AM Pillar Presentation creation and delivery at WCM audits, coaching and development of Team Leaders/Team Members to present at WCM audits, floor application and AM Methodology. I work closely with the Safety, CD, FI, PM, QC and EEM Pillar Leads and teams.

Trenton Engine Complex

I have been involved with the World Class Manufacturing Organization since May 2009. I started as the Plant WCM Lead before moving to the new plant, TSEP, in June 2010. Since that time, I have been the plant Autonomous Maintenance Specialist and a Business Unit Leader in the Cylinder Block Line. I was appointed the AM Pillar Lead in January of this year and served as the WCM Co-Lead at the Complex from February 2013 through January 2014. I provide the AM training to both hourly and salary employees and am involved in multiple WCM Pillar teams. These include: Safety, Cost Deployment, Focused Improvement, Professional Maintenance, and People Development. My experiences with the company have been primarily in Machining Production/Maintenance supervision. I have worked in Cylinder Blocks, Crankshafts, Cylinder Heads, Camshafts, Water Pumps, Connecting Rods, and Lower Intake Manifolds over my career. For a short period of time in early 2009, I was the Direct Run/Loss Manager for the old Trenton plant focusing on breaking bottleneck operations. I was also deeply involved in the Practical Problem Solving Boards and SQDCME Boards.
