My role, over 7 years, covered a wide range of roles, principally delivering and managing commercial mixed-use developments in central London.Strategy - across the portfolio, thinking for the long-term, masterplanning and phasing major development. Prioritising development opportunities based on company cashflow, future market considerations and trends. Also at the project level, making day-to-day decisions to tackle building and property issues with future work and retail trends in mind.Future Workplace - led investigations into how to modernise buildings through the use of new technologies integrating with existing infrastructure.Acquisition and Viability - worked with consultancies (Quod, AECOM, Faithful and Gould, and Quantem) to evaluate project viability and compiled my own construction budgets. Informed finance team and CEO on acquisition oppurtunities. Planning - worked with transport, flood risk, planning, heritage and townscape consultants to gain consent from various local authorities, which included Islington, City of London and Hammersmith and Fulham boroughs. Community engagement and long-term negotiations over large-scale regeneration projects of significant town centre sites (highest PTAL). Restored listed and iconic buildings, working with Heritage England. Construction - as a project and manager I led the delivery of two major and complex refurbishment projects £20 million and £15 million as well as smaller more hands on projects and part of a wider team on +£100 million regeneration projects. Conception to delivery and through lifecycle management. Legal, cost control and contract administration experience. Design - coordinated and led design from conception to delivery. Worked with small and large practices across all disciplines. Eg: Allies and Morrisons, Fletcher Priest, Arup and Hoare Lea.
