Worked alongside land managers including the Parks and Wildlife Service, Kingsborough City Council and a large number of private landowners to identify priority habitat for restoration, then worked with local volunteer groups to implement the restoration activities.The role also entailed designing an experiment to understand the processes limiting the recruitment of White Gum Eucalyptus viminalis, the species preferred habitat tree. I established plots around scattered paddock trees at various distances from the canopy, looking at recruitment response to a number of treatments including soil scalping and grazing removal.
