Independently built internal QC and analytical testing department at America's largest industrial hemp company using gas chromatography (GC). Solely responsible for all method development, GC troubleshooting, SOP creation, hazardous waste disposal, and report writing. I interviewed, hired, and trained two assistants, made all major equipment purchasing decisions, and supervised data quality on all products and formulations. Responsible for ~$100k hardware and product inventory management. Promoted to establish distillation and refining department while still overseeing QC. I built our distillation program from the ground up, creating innovations that quadrupled my productivity and enabled significant sales. Planned a $30k purchase to again quadruple output.

Rocky Mountain Region

I have gained valuable experience in drilling operations in all the major Rocky Mountain Basins. I emphasize professionalism and close communication with client geologists and directional drillers, allowing us to hit the target formation and stay in the pay zone. I communicate sample descriptions and gamma curve analyses with client representatives on a frequent basis to achieve these goals. I am experienced at correlating stratigraphic columns and using gamma logs to pick formation tops to accurately land curve sections with many operators. This experience is directly transferable to a wide variety of environmental science, geoscience field work, and lab tech positions.
