About Thomas Young
Jeune docteur, j'ai obtenu mon doctorat à l'Université de Lille en décembre 2023 suite à l'obtention de mon diplôme d'ingénieur en 2020 en collaboration avec notamment Zymoptiq, une start-up spécialisée dans la détection/quantification d'enzymes.Passionné par divers domaines scientifiques, j'ai pu porter le développement d'un capteur à activité enzymatique de la conception jusqu'à son industrialisation, mêlant ainsi enzymologie, micro-fabrication, formulation et chimie des polymères.Avant cette expérience, j'ai aussi pu travailler en recherche et développement au service de l'équipe "powder coating" du site de Felling d'AkzoNobel à Newcastle, une autre expérience mêlant synthèse et caractérisation des polymères, en plus de la découverte passionnante du travail à l'étranger et de la découverte de nouvelles cultures.
