About Thomas Young
Originally from Texas, I am currently a 3rd-year Business Analytics student at the University of Exeter. I have gained valuable data analysis and project management skills through my course and as a research assistant in the field of behavioral economics and marketing. I hope to use these skills for similar data-oriented roles which improve business performance and generate positive community impacts.My other roles include being a MITACS global research intern at HEC Montreal and General Secretary/Treasurer of the UoE Model United Nations Society for the 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 academic years.My greatest achievements include: become the 2022 Saluditorian at IIANT, winning 2nd place at mock trial districts, and participating in the National Economics Competition. I have subsequently accomplished several community-oriented projects including donating over 100 hand-made hats to cancer patients, further donating over 1000 articles of clothing to the Dallas Women's Shelter, and tutoring several kids in math, reading, and the SAT.
