CurrentOn-site in-person and remote assistance to teachers and school staff by maintaining andtroubleshooting problems with all technology and related systems in the assigned building location,including, but not limited to, hardware, software and peripheral devices.Installs and configures individual computers, labs, a variety of software, peripheral devices and ensures connectivity and communication to the network and/or server when necessary.Assists with setup, configuration and technical support for servers and both wired and wireless networks.Provides follow-up direction and instruction to users and/or outlines recommended procedures forself-sufficiency.Conducts training for teachers and other personnel in proper use of an individual computer system or computer lab (e.g. instructional and productivity software, print servers, file servers and the management system).Assists in tracking computer hardware, software, and all licensing pertaining to assigned schools.Plans and implements technology projects as assigned.Advises users, including building Principal, in technology decisions according to district vision anddirection. May serve on related school technology committees as requested.Assists with the maintenance of technical support team and/or school websites.
