As a recent graduate in December 2022, I offer a unique combination of experiences including mechanical engineering, data science and customer service. I have developed this background experience from my bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University at Buffalo and internship at Casella (formerly Triad Recycling), which have provided me with a wealth of knowledge in engineering. While as a part of the pilot program of the data science micro-credential at the University at Buffalo, along with components of my internship, I have also been able to develop important skills in data analysis and visualization, which I have been able to apply to my engineering coursework. My knowledge gained from my core engineering courses and my internship have provided me with an improved opportunity to complete projects, as a part of small teams, in various related fields, including bio-inspired engineering, space mission design and data science. Additionally, the experience that I have gained through over five years of working customer service at Tops Markets, has enhanced my consideration of working closely with customers to smoothly resolve issues, while also coordinating with several of my colleagues to improve operations. This unique combination of experience that I have acquired from my backgrounds in engineering, data science and customer service, as well as strong teamwork skills, makes me a well-rounded engineer.
