I took part in a 2 month project at the UK's premier telecommunications brand to help boost the 4G sales campaign across the NW & Midlands to SME's. EE

Rough Hill - The UK's Premier Youth Marketing & Events Company, Part of VCCP. My role was extremely client focused, requiring a combination of creativity, innovation and problem-solving ability in the events industry. Growing our weekly events from 1 to 15 over 4 years required strong organisational and time management skills to ensure sales targets, budgets, deadlines and new business was achieved.Prior to my involvement, my areas had suffered declining sales figures, however, within 6 months I had turned all of them around. A key example is Manchester, going from 100k annual turnover, to 500k. This was accomplished by the development of poor client relationships, driving sales figures through winning tenders and taking clients from stiff competition, after formulating strong sales pitches.Due to our position within the youth market, my team were chosen and won tenders to run marketing campaigns for Koppaberg, Orange Rockcorp, Wrigleys 5 Gum, Tribe Ibiza & Beach Break Live.Inclusive in my role was responsibility for annual budgets, staff payroll, print costs, entertainment costs, venue hire and general expenditure throughout my region, which resulted in top company performance.

As a student, I took on a part-time role with Rough Hill Student Events. I was responsible for direct sales to the student population in Leeds. I would recruit student reps from halls of residence, sports teams, societies and local colleges & sixth forms, and then get them involved with selling for the given event.I would fill a 2000 person nightclub every week of term.

When I first moved back to Manchester I was recruited by Orange Rockcorp, to advertise a huge campaign aimed at young individuals who would participate in Charity events throughout the North-West. These varied from painting children homes, excavating local land for building work, planting trees, and cleaning the streets in stuggling communities.The idea behind the project was for the youth of the area to give up some of their time to help the community and in return a prize would await them. You give 4 hours of community service to get a ticket to a gig which would comprise of huge acts - Lady Gaga, N-Dubz, Tinchy Stryder.http://www.orangerockcorps.co.uk
