I have worked on the following areas up until now: Migration projects from Blackrock eFront Front Invest Classic (FIC) to Front Invest Alternative (FIA).  Working with high profile clients and pension schemes such as KZVK, USS and MV Credit.  Providing Reconciliations from smaller Property & Bank Ops to full TBGL reconciliations.  Leading on a Static Data project, using Alteryx to gather reconciliations. Then using these to illustrate and then guide colleagues on how to make relevant changes alongside myself.  Inputting various accounting Operations such as Debt Transactions, Fund Ops, Bank Ops, Fees, and Settlements.  Undertake ad hoc tasks such as helping to create and maintain the team Intranet page.  Provide UAT and CMD user testing to prove the FIA system worked as expected.

I worked at DEFRA for over three years and during my time I had the privilege to gain experience and exposure to three different sectors/teams as part of a rotation scheme:o EU Exit Chemicals team – Chemicals Pesticides and Hazardous Waste team (CPHW).o Waste Crime Team – Resources and Waste team.o Net Zero & Plan for Growth – Office for Chief Economist (OCE).

During my time at here, I experienced every aspect of the marketing department there which involved 3 sectors: Design, Photography & Print. Here was my following roles in each of them:-Design- Here I mainly looked at the catalogue and the website material that's used to promote Draper & inform customers of the goods/services they provide. For the catalogue I was given the task of using Adobe Illustrator & Indesign to improve the look of the catalogue as well as updating info from the old catalogue so that it's up to date for the new 2017-18 catalogue, before consulting colleagues that the work I'd done fitted with edits to the catalogue they'd also done. Therefore, I've managed to become proficient in these programs. For the website, I was shown how to use Adobe Brackets which let me apply coding which also improved the look of the website but also improved the usability, where I was able to add links to improve website accessibility and convenience for the consumer.-Photography- I was dealing with the latest equipment in order to get the perfect pictures to be used for the front cover of the catalogue. In order to get this task completed, it required a hands on role in adjusting the equipment so that a number of different objects could all fit in one picture but also adjusting the angle and lighting of the photo equipment so that the objects could be shown in the best light possible to the consumer that's also informative of their function and practicality for different tasks.-Print- This involved working in the print room. With exception for the website, this is where all the final promotion work for Draper Tools ends up being produced and so my main role in this was to be on quality control so every piece of promotional content was up to the very high standard that Draper Tools requires whilst also delegating a leading role in organising the distribution of promotional content due to the likes of posters & catalogues needing to be distributed across Europe.

This was part time agency work over the summer which involved working for a number of different companies: Autumn Publishing ltd, Hermes, Carpetbarn and The Bedstore. Each of the companies required me to do a range of different demanding tasks and so I had to demonstrate a level of versatility and perseverance to adapt to all these different tasks. Furthermore, I was required to work a range of different shifts, from the 9-5 shift to overnight shifts, so I had to show a great deal of flexibility to still be able to fulfil any role in my agency work.

A month full time work in a battery warehouse, ensuring batteries were manufactured to a high standard in a pressurised environment with strict deadlines. This also meant a good degree of teamwork was involved to organise all my team members to complete different tasks based on their strengths. In addition, the work involved working with dangerous materials so I had to show a high level of concentration in order to complete the tasks given to me without putting myself or others at risk.
