My analytical strengths, coupled with business acumen, has allowed me to consistently solve complex problems, streamline operations, capture more and better data, and decrease response times.I have strong technical skills and enjoy the challenge of using new tools, as well as using existing tools in new and innovative ways. I’ve worked with business management applications such as Birst, Tableau, COGNOS, Salesforce, and Xactly Incentive Comp Management. I am able to “speak the language” of IT teams and serve as a translator between sales and technical teams. I understand the capabilities of applications to deliver mission-critical data and I know how to maximize the capacity of those applications. Another strength I bring to the table is outstanding communications and relationship-building skills. I interact well with senior management, and am highly effective in training, managing, and coaching employees. Early in my career, I was able to help AIG’s wholesale team sell annuity products more effectively, as well as demonstrate through data that AIG’s annuities outperformed other banks’ products. Since that early win, I have consistently been able to identify problems, research possible solutions, and implement strategies that increase market share, improve profitability, and streamline processes. In college, one of my business professors said to treat your job like it’s your own business. I took his words to heart— working hard, smart, and with a sense of urgency like an entrepreneur would. Over time, my interpretation has expanded to include passion about my work.When I’m not working, I engage in my passion for all things Tolkien. I love Tolkien’s thoughtful and imaginative approach to building his world.
