From March 2017 I was appointed the head of Centre for Cognitive Neuroscience at Aalborg University (www.ccn.aau.dk) which function as the knowledge-group for experimental research in a number of different topics ranging from memory, perception, attention, consciousness, to name a few. Since 2015 I am heading the neuropsychology programme on the psychology master's programme at Aalborg University (AAU). Also, I am responsible for coordinating a number of courses on both neuropsychology masters programme and psychology (statistics, adv. methods, and psychological testing). Besides the coordination I teach numerous courses including experimental psychology, statistics, neuropsychology, psychological testing, neuroscience, cognitive psychology, etc. In addition, I coordinate, supervise, and teach courses on Engineering psychology.In 2014 I became International Coordinator of Psychology and I will continue administering this position with the new position, trying to extend international collaborations and teaching exchanges between AAU and international partners.Finally, I am head of the Laboratory of Experimental Psychology at Aalborg University and responsible for building and expanding this area of psychology at AAU.

I do research and teaching in neuropsychology. At Aalborg University (AAU) I teach a number of different courses both for BA students and on the Masters programme in neuropsychology; covering areas like neuroscience, clinical neuropsychology, biological psychology, quantitative and experimental methods. Moreover, since december 2012 I have also been responsible for coordinating 7th and 8th semester on the neuropsychology program. In the fall of 2015 I became head of the neuropsychology programme after Morten Storm Overgaard, when he left for a position at Aarhus University. Finally, I am also responsible for building and heading the new behavioral Laboratory in Experimental Psychology.

As an affiliated researcher at Cognitive Neuroscience Research Unit (CNRU) at Center for Functional Integrative Neuroscience (CFIN), I conduct research in visual perception, memory, and consciousness.

I am affiliated with the master in neuroscience and neuroimaging, where I lecture in clinical neuropsychology and in basic neuroscience.

I lecture in cognitive psychology at the department of psychology at the BA level. Furthermore, I supervise master students within cognitive and clinical neuroscience on their thesis projects.

The work is presented in the thesis entitled "Investigations into Capacity-limitations in Visual Processing of the Human Observer" investigating how manipulations of expertise and expectancy influence the capacity limitation in short-term memory.

Folkeuniversitetet is the Danish version of the University Extension. Here my main responsibility was to head psychology. This involved everything form planning and coordinate the individual courses to recruiting skilled teachers.
