During my time at Henderson, I helped start and finish several projects to overhaul the sports medicine care for the school district. This included acquiring and implementing a new EMR for injury tracking and for sports physical collection. I also improved the district's response to inclement and severe weather by sourcing and utilizing a weather station and monitoring service. The weather monitoring has been used to keep athletes safe from excessive heat, lightning and other severe weather. Lastly I worked with the district staff to update and outfit the main athletic training clinic with new tables, treatment modalities and cleaning procedures.

At OCPS I have worked as an athletic trainer and a classroom teacher at Windermere High School. As a teacher, a taught Care and Prevention of Athletic Injuries, and First Aid and Safety. Both classes are related to helping to improve the overall health literacy of students when it comes to life threatening conditions, basic injuries from an active lifestyle, and other habits and medical conditions that impact quality of life. As an athletic trainer, I have worked with all of the 26+ sports teams that we have at the school to diagnose, treat, and manage sport related injuries. During my time at Windermere high school, I have learned and began to specialize in different treatment techniques for athletes suffering from back pain. Lastly I've also learned and began to assist in modifying weightlifting technique in form, for the boys and girls weightlifting teams.

At Cora, I had the opportunity to utilize my athletic training skills in several ways. Primarily, I provided athletic training related care at select events. Additionally, I used my skills in injury evaluation and manual therapy to aid in the marketing of Cora's services. This includes complementary injury screens, manual therapy mobilizations, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilizations (IASTM) and other active and passive stretching stretching and joint mobilization techniques.

Tampa/St. Petersburg, Florida Area

Resident Athletic Trainer for the University of South Florida SMART Institute. Working as the Head Athletic Trainer at a large (~2400 students) high school in New Tampa. I provided sports medicine care to over 20 varsity sports teams across three competitive seasons. This included emergency medical, care as well as sport related injury evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation and prevention. As a Resident for the University of South Florida, I worked cooperatively with doctors and clinicians to provide an elevated standard of health care. In addition, I aided in data collection for several research initiatives.

West Point, New York

As part of the NCAA partnership with the US Department of Defense study, I acted as a research assistant collecting baseline data for the study. As a research assistant, I administered baseline BESS and SAC Tests on incoming cadets, in addition to the administration of study enrollment materials to the cadets.

Ithaca, New York Area

As a service desk consultant, I acted as a primary point of contact for my IT department. I handled any and all incoming technology related questions or issues, via email, phone or in person. As the primary point of contact I applied any troubleshooting steps that were deemed necessary to fix or diagnose the technical issue. Technical issues that were beyond my scope of expertise were recorded into a workflow database and assigned to advanced support staff. My time as a service desk consultant gave me experience troubleshooting both Mac OS and Windows 7 and 10 operating systems, as well as IOS and android for mobile devices. Additionally, Igained basic trouble shooting experience for all of the core Microsoft Office Suite products, especially Outlook and Outlook Calendar.
