This is an unpaid, volunteer position. The New York State Bar Association Corporate Counsel Section, of which I have twice served as Chair and currently am a Member of the Executive Committee, represents approximately 1700 in-house counsel as well as lawyers with a corporate or commercial practice all around New York State.

This is a volunteer position. Central Park PAWS, now discontinued, was formerly a program of the Central Park Conservancy involved in outreach and services to dog owners who use the Park together with their pets.

This is an unpaid elected position in which I worked with other members of the Board of Directors to manage the cooperative apartment building in which I reside.

I worked at Pitney Bowes in Stamford, CT 3 days a week as a member of their in-house legal staff. My primary assignment was to support PBI's Human Resources and Enterprise Procurement staff in negotiating, drafting and reviewing contracts, primarily those related to employee benefits.

I served as a temporary attorney on a contract basis to assist the Deputy General Counsel and Assistant General Counsel on litigation matters and contract matters. From May 2007 through September 2007 I worked full time, primarily negotiating contracts for the sale of Pitney Bowes services to its customers. From October 2007 through June 2008, I continued.

Assisted General Counsel of BT Americas Inc. (formerly called BT North America Inc., a wholly owned sub of British Telecommunications plc) in varied in-house legal matters, primarily drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts with customers for telecommunications services but also with suppliers, as well as managing litigations and drafting/reviewing.

During these four years I performed legal services on a contract or consulting basis for a number of different organizations, including among others Met Life, Ciba-Geigy, Bankers Trust, NYNEX Corporation, VNU/USA, Entex Information Services, and IMS Health. Most of the work involved drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements, although there.

In-house staff attorney originally handling Federal Communications Commission regulatory pleadings and filings (1984-1988), then advising Purchasing organization (1988-1994), drafting, reviewing and negotiating supplier agreements primarily for high-tech items such as switching office equipment and software. Company is now known as Verizon Communications.

No longer existing as such, Western Electric was the wholly owned manufacturing and supply subsidiary of AT&T prior to the 1984 divestiture; parts of the company now continue as Lucent Technologies and other AT&T spinoffs. There I was a staff in-house attorney charged with responsibility for antitrust counseling and advice, initially helping ensure that.
