Chartered Engineer, with thirteen years’ experience in designing and managing construction projects. I have a broad background working in mechanical, electrical, public health, site-wide energy analysis and sustainability fields.Since 2020, I have specialized in delivering passive-first solutions across a wide range of projects. My role is typically client-engaged from concept & visioning through to end user stages of projects. I bring expertise and advanced analytics across passive and active design, climate resilience, energy and the health and experience of occupants. My core philosophy is that good and simple design enables buildings themselves to achieve comfort, illumination and ventilation for as much of the year as possible, reducing mechanical systems and our dependence on them. This approach results in cost, energy and emissions savings, and reduces lifetime risk for the projectI am uniquely positioned as the bridge between robust engineering know-how, building physics and data-driven modelling and analytics.
