In my last season at Manchester Storm, I presented and produced social media content. I have had valuable work with the Manchester Storm. I have filmed, edited and produced multiple short videos for both Manchester Storm & the Manchester Storm Officials supporters Club. I produced the social media series titled “Small talk with the Storm” where I interviewed players with a selection of comedic questions. This series was then edited down to form 5x 3 minute videos for Twitter and Facebook. Further to this, I produced an annual highlights package titled ‘Meet the Players’ where I use my creative skill set to edit a highlights compilation of the new and returning players.

I was the regular cohost of the Saturday breakfast sports show. I also was part of the research team, providing all contextual information ahead of the live show. I focused on being able to provide in depth and analytical opinions on a variety of sporting topics.

I participated in all roles from pre-production to post-production within the forms of producing short content for various forms of online output. I’ve developed many skills; varying from meeting weekly deadlines for content, whilst also developing my ability to film with a multi camera set up and enhance the quality of my recorded spoken audio. In addition to this, I’ve provided short informal video ideas that bring life to an office, with first class interaction for both internal and external outreach.

Every Thursday of 2019, I presented a weekly radio show. I played a selection of music, whilst interacting with a live audience across East Cheshire; updating them with different forms of engaging discussion and interesting news.

A short placement with Manchester City football club. I worked closely with City TV assisting with productions taking place. During the time spent there I worked primarily as an editor, whilst also working as a camera operator on match day.

I worked on a short placement with MUTV in order to gain experience from shadowing the presenters. I was able to develop my existing skills in the field, whilst learning to improve from professionals in the industry. I also was given chance to shadow two BBC radio presenters covering a live game from Old Trafford. I also used my existing skill set and helped as a camera operator in the live TV studio.
