About me:Undergraduate B.S. in Biology where I found engaging experiences working in undergraduate research laboratories that first got me interested in the bench (Dr. Charles Walker and Dr. Richard Blakemore)Post-graduate M.S. in Molecular Biology where I studied photoreception genetics in the green sea urchin, Strongylocentrotus droebachiensis.5+ years at CST as a Product Scientist in our Production Department where I got my first experience with people leadership.Transferred to CST's Research & Development Department where I have served in several capacities over 10+ years, most of them in the spirit of engaging in work that is designed to improve operational efficiency at the department level. This work included the forming and leading collaborative teams with non-R&D Departments in order to ensure timely information sharing & communication forums; leading a small team of wonderful program managers to drive both process- and product-based program teams; working closely with our CSO and his staff regarding R&D Operations.In January 2024, I joined the CEO as his Chief of Staff, working to increase effectiveness and efficiency across our Global Leadership Committee.
