Thomas Barsoe is a multi platinum selling R&B, pop singer/songwriter turned producer originally from Copenhagen, Denmark.  In 2004, the president of music giant, EMI, discovered the young aspiring Dane and put pen to paper and in 2005, Barsoe’s debut solo album, Better Man, was released in 27 countries worldwide.  Better Man sold over one million copies making him a certified platinum recording artist.  The album reached number one in the charts in Japan, the world’s second largest music market and the single “Better Man’ was MTV’s most requested song, three weeks in a row.  Two years later, his highly anticipated follow-up album, Read Between the Lines, featuring the singles, "Let the World See I’m Crying" and “Broken”, also went platinum and both the album and two singles soared to number one on the Japanese charts.In 2011, Barsoe was nominated for the prestigious “Freedom To Create” award for his single, “If We Stand Together,” which was penned for the Tsunami victims of Japan.In January 2016, Barsoe officially opened the doors of OC Hit, a record label, music publishing, artist management and recording studios, dedicated to discovering and developing exceptionally talented, young singers and songwriters. OC Hit is located in Newport Beach and has quickly established itself as the number one ‘one stop’ Music Powerhouse in Orange County. OC Hit recently got their own record label imprint OC Hit Entertainment thru music giants, Universal Music. As the only studio in OC, OC Hit has the honor of hosting auditions for major music television shows, American Idol, The Voice and America’s Got Talent. Thomas Barsoe personally manages several rising stars, including Zhavia Ward, whom he discovered and signed at only 15 years old and got on the show ‘The Four’ and subsequently secured her a lucrative recording contract with music heavyweights, Columbia Records and music publishing deal with Sony/ TV. Barsoe also got Zhavia featured on the ‘Deadpool 2’ smash hit “Welcome To The Party” with Diplo, French Montana and Lil’ Pump and the remake of Disney’s iconic Aladdin classic duet “A Whole New World” with Zayn of One Direction. Both features went certified platinum.
