About Thomas Bauer

I architect, design and write software for macOS, iOS and the web.I am co-director of Factorial, a company focused on Film and TV where I architect custom software and products used by film directors, post production, broadcast or digital archive workflows. I originally trained in Physics and worked for the CMS collaboration at CERN for a few years when I still lived in Austria, but I then switched to IT and moved to NZ over a decade ago. If you happen to take a walk in Lyall Bay, Wellington's main beach, and close to the airport runway you see some surfers out waiting for the next set of waves to come in, I will most likely be one of them.
