The role includes budgeting and follow-up of fixed maintenance costs, investment planning and the long term maintenance plan (typically named 5 year plan). The group consists of two technicians, a reliability engineer and myself. So, a small focused team. The role also includes being Deputy Manager of the Board Mill and being member of the Board Mill management team. The group managed to take costs back to budgeted levels after high costs the first half of 2016. This was done in close cooperation with the production managers and technicians and the tools have been mainly better prioritizing and better scheduling and hence less external resources. Show less

There is also a group of availability engineers focusing on root cause analysis and the preventive maintenance program etc. In total we are 82 persons.We came to this solution after a few years struggling to come to terms with interrupted week schedules leading to TOO MUCH CORRECTIVE maintenance and TOO LITTLE of the more important PREVENTIVE maintenance.
