I have been TA for many courses, including: general relativity, optics, radiative processes, C programming 1 & 2, numerical methods, calculus 4, statistics, biophysics, famous problems in mathematics, etc.

I built a numerical simulation of radio wave propagation over the Moon's surface. This is connected to Heino Falcke's LRX project, which comprises the design of a radio-frequency antenna that is intended to make astronomical observations in a lunar environment.

I hosted four weekly, hour-long instruction sessions for students enrolled in PHYS 152 (Electricity & Magnetism). I prepared weekly sheets that contains theory and exercises, and I hosted exam reviews as well (most SI exam review sessions were attended by 100+ students). As an intern at SERC (Space Engineering Research Center) at the Information Sciences Institute in Marina del Rey, I performed orbital thermal analysis for a CubeSat (microsatellite) project. This involved modeling the spacecraft's geometry and specifying oribtal parameters after which a raytracing algorithm computed the satellite's temperature gradient.

I was a research assistant for the 'Hurricane House' project; the goal was to model the effects of hurricane-strength winds on common housing structures using a wireless network of pressure sensors.

I co-developed mass spectrometry data analysis software in JAVA. Specifically, the software analyzed the enormous output files of high-resolution digital mass spectrometers (dozens of GB) and extracted the useful data, which would usually be a fraction of the raw file that was orders of magnitude smaller in size.

I translated small advertisements from Dutch to English.
