Participated in FruitPunch AI's 'AI for Coral Reefs 2' challenge, focused on using computer vision to analyse benthic images. Where we made contributions to segmenting coral reefs and measuring their growth or loss in marine protected areas. The work involved deploying AI technologies such as image segmentation and classification, which helped understand coral ecosystems better and protect them from risks such as climate change and overfishing.
