I am an experienced upstream biologics manufacturing technician who works in Media Preparation, Seed Train, Production Train, and Harvest operations. I regularly troubleshoot MCS and MES automation issues and lead the shift during daily operations, providing support for other operators and train new technicians. In addition to this I have been involved in Lean Six Sigma teams and other continuous improvement initiatives, participating in root cause analyses and kaizens. I also support regulatory inspections and present to inspectors as a subject matter expert for upstream operations. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from the University of California, San Diego, where I was a research assistant in the Heller Nanoscale Engineering Laboratory.
