Developed and implemented high-end fundraising, corporate alliance and marketing/communications strategies for a Top 25 (The Non Profit Times), A-rated (American Institute of Philanthropy), US-based non-profit with a focus on humanitarian aid and poverty relief with a $600+ million annual budget. Served as Deputy Regional Director for Boston/New England (1995-1998); Senior Director of Development for NE Region (1999- 2001); National Director of Corporate Alliances and Field Marketing (2002-2005); Deputy Regional Director for NE Region (2006-2007); Executive Director for NE Region (2007-2009). Promoted to national Executive Director for Major Gifts (2009-2012) and directed, mentored and supervised a twelve-member team of professionals based in Boston, New York City, Washington DC, Atlanta, Chicago, and San Francisco raising gifts in the $25,000 to $1,000,000+ range from donors/prospects in 50 states and parts of Europe. Previously, as Executive Director for the Northeast Region, managed a fourteen-member regional team focused on major gifts, corporate alliances, foundation giving, planned giving, and volunteer fundraising in the 10 states of the Northeast. In both roles, developed annual operating plans and budgets, established and surpassed team and individual goals, effectively engaged board members and volunteers, and via a role model approach instilled team confidence and excellence. In 2012, appointed to lead a redesigned Northeast Region as Executive Director (2012-2017) and serve on the National Leadership Team for U.S. fundraising strategy.
