Working on the Watson Health Cloud

Design and implementation of the Heureka Intelligence Platform, an endpoint-centric information governance and risk compliance solution. I focused on driving a healthy and efficient technical culture as well as balancing business and engineering concerns. I was responsible for being the technical voice with respect to pre-sales customer meetings. I worked with an excellent team of developers to build a cloud offering for the HIP on Google Cloud using Docker and Kubernetes.

My primary role was on the Indexing team, focused on big data design and implementation -- primarily using Apache Hadoop & HBase. I specialized in performance optimization and rapid debugging of production issues across the stack. I provided technical leadership in the areas architecture, development, operations, and business intelligence. I also performed a DBA role for MySQL and Vertica.
