Performed thermal, structural, and cfd analysis as part of a cross functional design team dedicated to providing cutting edge electronic packaging solutions in support of numerous DOD and NASA programs. Participated in Customer PDRs, CDRs, and TIMs. Authored Whitepapers on Component Lead Stress Analysis, Random Vibration Analysis, Shock Response Spectrum Analysis, Acoustic Noise Analysis, and ESS Testing (thermal and vibration). Developed an analytical methodology for extracting the average thermal RC constant for an LRU or WRA from thermocouple data. Presented Brown Bag lunches on Thermal Interface Resistances to the BAE Mechanical Engineering Community. Worked with the System Engineering Group in interpreting and developing both system level and component level environmental requirements for various Programs such as FCS, J4ISR, Win-T, MIDS. Designed Isolator Systems and test equipment fixtures. Provided leadership and direction as the Chairperson of the BAE Systems Mechanical Analysis Community of Practice (MACoP). As the chairperson of the MACoP, and member of the Hardware Leadership Team, lead a group of 12+ engineers in defining standard analysis procedures and best practices, defining analysis training requirements, selecting appropriate analysis tools, and disseminating lessons learned and analysis techniques to the Mechanical Engineering Community at BAE (600+ engineers).

Designed and/or defined all cabling and hardware external to the bay station, AC/DC service requirements, battery reserve time, grounding and lightning protection, floor layout, HVAC requirements, and cell site preparation requirements and installation guidelines, documentation, training videos, and Customer FOAs (First Office Applications) of Series II and CDMA products. Interfaced with RF, frame mechanical, frame electrical, hardware integration team, equipment vendors and the Supply Chain Organization in support of successful product deployment. Performed Design Verification Testing of Series II and CDMA cellular products. Developed and authored the DVT process specification that has been adapted by the Lucent Wireless Development Community.

Analyzed the performance of the M109 and M110 Self Propelled Howitzer Recoil and Recuperator Mechanisms utilizing proprietary codes. Performed 6 DOF projectile ballistic simulations. Performed vehicle suspension system and gun tube structural analysis during gun blast with multiple projectile/propellant combinations utilizing Nastran. Evaluated supplier requests for waiver and deviations on the control rod surfaces for the recoil mechanisms.
