I am a Senior at Indiana University Bloomington in the Kelley School of Business majoring in Marketing and minoring in Environmental and Sustainability Studies. After college I look to find my place in today's ever-changing business environment and to be effective in my field.As a university student I decided to pursue a business degree before my freshman year, this prevented me from being able to apply for direct admission at the Kelley School of Business. In order to have a competitive application I had to be driven to get good grades and work with my peers. I dedicated an extensive amount of effort into classes such as Computers in Business and Business Presentations in order to build a strong academic resume before I applied to the school.Over the Summer before my sophomore year, I began work at the Wyndham, a hotel in Noblesville. This was my first job where I was required to regularly work with customers and handle large amounts of money. This experience greatly developed my work-ethic and my communication skills. Throughout the experience, I realized my passion for connecting with people to an even greater extent. I hope to take this passion into the professional world after I graduate.
