We all need help sometimes. Students and professionals each struggle with asking for and accepting help. My professional goal is to develop successful transitional programs for students in a positive environment that encourages learning, growth, failure and innovation. I want to make my staff, colleagues and students feel like we are all on a team that is pushing them to be better as much as they are pushing each other.I am a motivated, dedicated and team-oriented leader. My experience in Enrollment Management, academic support services, student affairs, campus-wide new student programming, developmentally targeted initiatives, advising and student success frames my focus on integrated and collaborative programs. I believe in learning with and through my work and nothing has been more impactful than working with diverse student bodies that widen the world for the entire community. In short I'm proud to hang out with college students for a living. The goals of the programs and initiatives I manage are based on being better for our students. Providing a positive environment for students in transitions also fosters a positive and collaborative professional environment. This allows us all to be an effective student affairs professionals.
