Duties were to act as primary and technical co-ordinator of the CXO300 Outboard SMC-Carbon Fibre Cowl. Collaborating with the key departments: design, analysis, test and development, quality, marketing, purchasing and manufacturing to deliver the system which captures the commercial, functional and technical requirements for the successful market launch in 2020 and continual product development.Key Responsibilities:- Compilation and update of system requirements whilst working with senior colleagues to cascade them down to component requirements.- Updating standard company systems tracking documentation and delivering status updates to senior colleagues.- Technical problem diagnosis, problem solving, testing and solution implementation in collaboration with all areas of the business and suppliers.- System change control management and implementation on the product.- Resource and project management for dedicated system.Other Responsibilities:- Primary co-ordinator for the Service Tool kits for milestone servicing of the CXO300 and the intake manifolds.https://www.coxmarine.com/

Green technology start-up business focused on developing sustainable commercial aquaponic systems. Identified a market for small aquaponic systems suitable for a desk. Developed and 3D modelled a system on Autodesk Inventor and made a prototype, which was then systematically tested. The system design was a success as it sustained life for the fish and plants, which showed on-going potential for the business. In addition, I was tasked to find a LED supplier for larger commercial systems. Contacted and arranged meetings with suppliers within the city to assess their suitability, obtaining LED’s from suppliers to test.

BP West of Shetland Actuator Override Tool skid design project. Assisted with the project management in order to deliver the skid for an ROV on time and within budget. Liaised with clients and colleagues to execute project deliverables. Contributed to the stress analysis report, pad eye stress calculations for lifting the skid and docking interface arrangement. Helped a colleague on another project to identify the reason behind the damage inflicted to a standard change-out tool interface during a system integration test. In addition, I developed a welcome package for future interns to use to familiarise themselves with their orientation at the company and help add to the companies culture and support system. Held presentations for fellow colleagues to learn about the department and work I had completed to promote collaboration between departments. Motivated to grow trusted business acumen to find solutions to clients’ needs and add value to the business.
