Thomas Lee is a private equity investor at Blue Earth Capital (formerly known as PG Impact Investments), a global impact investment firm that seeks to invest in businesses addressing environmental and social challenges, while generating market-rate financial returns. Blue Earth Capital is backed and supported by Partners Group, one of the world's leading private markets investment managers with $149 billion of assets under management. Thomas executes investments for Blue Earth's Climate Growth Fund, which focuses on making direct growth equity investments in companies that play an active role in decarbonizing the global economy, including the energy transition ecosystem, buildings & mobility, climate intelligence, production & consumption, and food & agriculture.Prior to joining Blue Earth Capital, Thomas was a private equity investor at New Island Capital Management, a single family office exclusively dedicated to impact investing with $2 billion of assets under management. Thomas worked on direct growth equity investments in the U.S. and internationally across sectors including renewable energy and sustainable consumer products.Before joining New Island Capital, Thomas worked in investment banking at Goldman Sachs, where he advised clients as part of the clean technology & renewables group. While at Goldman Sachs, Thomas executed over $50 billion of M&A and $5 billion of equity & debt financings across 13 closed transactions. Thomas graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a B.S. in Business Administration and a B.A. in Economics.
