Ongoing freelance work specializing in cel animation and compositing

Assisted in the creation of a variety of internal and client-based projects comprised of a range of styles from 2D cell character animation to motion graphics. Additionally, created stand alone assets designed for a variety of mediums, including mobile, web, tablet, and outdoor.

Following a provided design guide, worked as part of a team of animators to create and animate characters, assets, and scenes for an ongoing series of branded advertisements. Additionally, assisted with compositing to help the team meet its goals and deadlines.

Assisted in the creation of a variety of elements for a currently untitled PBS mini-series. Elementsincluded character and object animation, backgrounds (full background as well as smaller layeredcompositions), compositing (for both shot layout and rough cut), and concept art. The variety of thetasks gave me the flexibility to assist my team members with all aspects of the project and ensure wecould meet our goals and deadlines.

Utilizing the dialogue and brand materials provided by the client, I designed and animated a motiongraphics based training video centered around creating a more engaging experience for theiremployees. Aspects of the project included the full spectrum of visual duties including storyboarding,animatic, asset creation, style frames, and ultimately production of the finished piece.

Compositing and character/object animation for a series of 4 StoryCorps animated shorts and 1educational narrative short for the Equal Justice Initiative. Worked closely with director JulieZammarchi to plan transitions, timing and effects for each shot and execute and create thenecessary assets and compositing. Researched and experimented with new techniques to achievedesired effects. Provided logistics and strategy for exporting assets for later use in compositing.Assisted team members with coloring, design and 3D animation as needed.

Instructor for an introductory workshop in 2D animation for children ages 6-13.
