Summary: Working at a high end lighting design and consultancy firm, to provide and see through lighting design solutions that enhance spaces. Main role and responsibilities:Design - Creating lighting schemes for various applications, including residential, retail and commercial sectors. I then realise these designs using various methods, including physical demonstrations, computer aided design, 3D software, and mood boards.Project management - Acting as a point of contact for clients and relevant professionals. To see through each project from initial consultation, design creation, implementation and final sign off. I work closely with the end user to help realise their vision, whilst planning and managing the timeline of each project to ensure completion deadlines are met.Technical support – Assisting and supporting installers to ensure a smooth outcome. This includes site meetings to run through the methodology of install, creating technical schematics, schedules and wiring diagrams.Marketing – I research target markets to keep up with the latest trends, to be able to input into the creation of marketing content. I also attend annual U.K and continental trade shows.Sales – Having a high knowledge of current manufactures and products enables me to specify optimum solutions for each project. I then execute the sale of these products to the client via detailed documents and demonstrations.Management – Managing and supervising members of staff in all aspects of the field. This includes training in customer service and communication, design, management of projects and sales.
