The Mary Campbell Center, located in Wilmington, Delaware, is home to 66 residents with developmental disabilities. The Center was established in 1976 to provide a home-like, supportive living environment that prides itself on showing respect for every resident. Because of this support, many of the residents have achieved higher levels of physical and mental growth than ever expected. I have contributed to the success of the organization through significant improvements in fund development, government relations, public relations, facilities improvements, organizational strategies, and bringing fun to the workplace!

The Tatnall School is an independent, K - 12 coeducational, college preparatory day school located in Greenville, Delaware. Tatnall recognizes, respects and nurtures the unique qualities of each student within the context of a challenging academic program.As Board Chair for 9 years (2001-2009), and Trustee since 1991, I have been immersed in every aspect of school governance including board management, strategic planning, facility operations and project development, financial planning, and human resources support. I have also planned and co-chaired two major capital campaigns, raising over $20M for facilities and endowments.

Founded in 1964, the Delaware Nature Society is one of the pre-eminent non-profit environmental organizations in the state of Delaware, mid-Atlantic region, and enjoys a national reputation. The Society's mission is environmental education, conservation and preservation, and advocacy.As President of the Board from 2009 - 2012, I worked with fellow directors, staff, and volunteers to create mission-based strategies and provide broad oversight of policies and operations. Leveraging my strong community relationships, I have guided four successful multi-million dollar capital campaigns.

I guided privately-held lumber and building material company through explosive growth period, increasing sales from $10M to $75M with 95 employees while maintaining highest levels of customer satisfaction. We restructured company to provide ownership by senior management and facilitated executive team's full authority for creative thinking and daily operations. While maintaining company mission of excellent customer service, I encouraged and motivated long-term employees through challenging transition during recent housing collapse.

Because of this support, many of the residents have achieved higher levels of physical and mental growth than ever expected. During my 14 years of volunteer service to this deeply-caring organization, I worked with wonderful, dedicated directors and staff to execute this unique mission. Serving on many committees, I provided guidance on financial management, fund-raising, human resources, building maintenance, and new construction projects.
