As a hospitality consultant I supported hospitality entrepreneurs in managing their back-of-house, train staff, reduce cost and grow revenue. Through my years of experience in training people and having worked in all types of hospitality I have extensive knowledge of the industry. I supported and helped translate the London based concept, Super Lyan, in collaboration with Ryan Chetiyawardana and his team to something more fitting with Amsterdam. Together with the hotel team and the ownership group I was responsible for the new team, bar program and opening. I sourced all glassware, cutlery, plates and other OS&E items and made sure.

In collaboration with the owners of the small boutique hotel MISC EatDrinkSleep and together with my fiancée we set up a boutique 35 seat cocktailbar in the lobby. Inspired by the rich history of menageries and the showcasing of rarities in the Nieuwmarkt area of Amsterdam I developed the bar program and helped set up partnerships with brands and suppliers.

For Koninklijke De Kuyper’s import and boutique brands business Cooper and Barrel I worked as a brand and sales ambassador. In collaboration with the selection of brands (I.E. Rutte,, Calle23, Michter’s, Chartreuse, Del Maguey) I build partnerships with bars and restaurants in the Amsterdam area. I supported the brands with trainings and menu consultancies.

In the small Amsterdam cocktailbar with a focus on innovative drinks paired with Asian food I managed the small 5 people team and supported the owner, Remco Babay, in day to day activities. Together we looked into how to further integrate the food into the drinks menu and help drive sales in collaboration with the restaurant upstairs, Geisha.

Hidden in plain sight this small 38-seat cocktailbar served innovative prohibition-style cocktails. I helped create menu drinks and was responsible for opening and closing the bar as well as doing orders with suppliers.
