Information Technology Specialist who is transitioning into a DevOps culture for the State of Minnesota. Bringing knowledge on areas that revolve around CI / CD. Have knowledge with IBM products such as; WebSphere application server ND, WebSphere process server, UrbanCode Deploy, UrbanCode Release, and IHS Web Servers. Can setup new infrastructures quickly and easily in a reusable way using tools that allow Infrastructure As Code (IAC). In May of 2012 I started in the receiving department scanning in P.O.'s and going through the shipments to insure the accuracy of the orders. I was told I caught on quickly and within my second month I was asked to train other new employees to work in the receiving department. While doing my regular work duties and training others my work duties in receiving increased to printing labels via computer, troubleshooting technical issues such as connectivity issues from computer to server to printer, tagging items with barcodes, bagging items, and putting items away to correct location. Within a year I was then moved to the shipping department where my duties changed to picking product for companies and customers. I was relied upon to make sure that orders where correct and shipped out in an efficient manner. My supervisor approached me and decided that due to my skills, abilities, and work ethics he chose to put me in charge of picking and processing one of the company’s largest accounts.(Amazon Inc.) I continued to uphold this work load over the last two years and began to transition into a maintenance position. Duties included are painting, forklift operation, scissor lift operation, maintaining work grounds (lawn care/snow removal/parking lot repair) installing needed racking/shelving, mechanical work, and custodial cleaning.
