I currently design point of sale/contact kiosks and enclosures that house tablets and devices for consumer use. I work swiftly to ensure the customer receives quality goods on time every time. To do this I design the products and supervise their manufacture using in house CNC milling, 3D Printing and general fabrication.I create accurate and detailed data that is communicated through the company to ensure the manufacturing process is as efficient and cost-effective as possible.

My role here was to design systems and structures to aid in the building and maintenance of a large range of jet engines. I was responsible for my own projects ranging from engine/module stands to specialised spanners.This responsibility meant that I had to carry out FEA (and modify the design accordingly) on projects that required it. I also had to carry out extensive risk assessments and MFMEA's. Ensuring the customers were receiving what they ordered by creating presentations about the product for them to review was another crucial part of each project. In addition to these, one of the most important parts of each project was ensuring each component and the project as a whole adhered to the customers own standards and other applicable international standards.

In this role, I used both Inventor and AutoCAD to create sales drawings of bespoke seating systems for customers to review. To make this process more efficient, I also helped develop a software automation system to use spreadsheets to drive the creation of CAD models.This involved carrying out floor load-bearing calculations and concept design to ensure the customer received the best service possible.In addition to this, I carried out maintenance design work for existing installations.

My main responsibility within this role was to help create the best possible tool paths for parts made using a 5-axis CNC machine by ensuring the right tooling was chosen.Another responsibility was to help carry out some custom design work for industrial diamond growers.
