As a Software Solutions Engineer, I'm accountable for pre-sales demonstration, installation, service and preventive maintenance for label and packaging customers worldwide.My main responsibilities are:• Supporting sales people with pre-sales activities.• Software installation, training and testing at customer´s sites.• Diagnose and support issus reported by customers, and coordinate with the development team to resolve these quickly and effectively.• Manage pre-installation and preventive maintenance visits.• Support the customer with the day-to-day use and maintenance of the software.• Keeping my knowledge up to date by attending courses, self-study, and in-depth preparation.

I was the go-to person for all technical aspects of the different applications distributed by Four Pees. I was the part of the Color and Proofing team within the Research and Development department. My focus was to guarantee the quality of the Esko software.My main tasks were:• To guarantee quality of software projects.• Execute specific testing tasks and report results.• Review, qualify, assign reported problems and verify the solutions.• Communicate with R&D about the quality, performance and user friendliness of software.• Participate in Alpha test customer installation, support and follow-up.• Set up automatic testing and manage testing data (test suites ect.).• Review user stories and technical specifications and create a test plan.I developed application knowledge about software and the environment where it is used and document usage and contribute to the knowledge database.
