Conversion Rate Optimisation LeadSecret Escapes Nov 2013 - Mar 2015London, GbFollowing my work as a Web Designer, I moved to lead the AB Test and Conversion Rate Optimisation across the Secret Escapes group sites. Upon taking up this role I implemented Optimizely for all the Secret Escapes global sites, enabling us to run more tests more efficiently. I oversaw all the planning and prioritisation of A/B tests, which were prioritised following online user testing sessions and analysis of quantitive data.Using my design and front-end skills I used Jquery, HTML and CSS to design and implement split tests. Also made use of Jquery to add on-site tracking through Google Tag Manager ensuring that the KPI's of each test were tracked correctly through Google Analytics and Optimizely. -

Dedicated to covering the ins and outs of the cricket industry, specifically focusing on the equipment side.Within 12 months of launch the site was receiving in in excess of 1000 visitors per day. Worked with multi-nationals such as Puma, Gray Nicolls and Unicorn Products to exclusively cover their sponsorship and equipment announcements. Secured advertising and affiliate marketing contracts with some of the UK’s largest sports equipment manufacturers and retailers.Sold website in 2012.

Took charge of the production, design and development of Mongoose's 2010/11 range of cricket equipment, ensuring it was delivered on time and made to the correct specification. The uniquely designed Mongoose MMi3 bat went on to win multiple industry awards, including a Sports Industry Award for 'Best Technological Innovation in Sport.' The protective range later went on to be featured in the 'Designed to Win' exhibition at the Design Museum, exhibiting the latest innovations in sporting equipment to coincide with the 2012 Olympics. Also handled the IT side of the business, producing social media strategies and implementing new technology to streamline processes. -

Grew traffic to the site using social media and SEO. At the time of sale the site had the largest active member-base of any cricket equipment website.Sold the business as a going concern in August 2009.
