He leads an offshore team he recruited that is almost finished rewriting their 20-year-old Laboratory Information System and transforming it into a state-of-the-art Azure web-based system that integrates digital pathology imaging and artificial intelligence analysis.As Director of IT at Sollis Health, he was responsible for building a resilient cloud-based replicable technology footprint to meet the demands of rapidly expanding new location openings of various types while keeping costs down, maintaining the high-end standards our members expect, and maximizing uptime.At One Brooklyn Health, he merged the infrastructure of three hospitals, completed three EPIC go-lives and three PACS migrations, and provided technical project management for constructing a new Intensive Care Unit (ICU), operating rooms, and a psychiatric ward.In his position before that, at Lutheran Social Services of New York (LSSNY), Thomas had to redesign the entire infrastructure from scratch. He accomplished most of the cloud-based redesign in his first two years. His future-proof IT infrastructure design allowed LSSNY to transition to a fully remote workforce in just three days. Continuously looking to improve technology and processes, he replaced imaging computers with Microsoft Office365 Intune Autopilot profiles that automatically configure the devices and deploy the applications, cutting the preparation time from 2 hours to 15 minutes.
