    I have been challenged with building the Information Technology Teams to build Tegna’s organization and technology platforms following a spin-off from Gannett. I owned the execution, contract negotiation, and issue management functions, while essentially sourcing and hiring a brand-new team. I oversaw $50M in operating and capital expenses, identifying long-term planning and capital projects. I navigated multiple mergers and acquisitions and divestitures, managing technology spin-offs and/or integration. I ensure constant system availability for a 24/7 operation, constantly identifying synergies, cost savings opportunities, and new ways to improve the employee experience through technology.
