Managed the Security, Compliance, Information Technology, Business Systems and Customer Support departments. Responsibilities included contributing to the company strategy, aligning departmental objectives with company priorities, participation in board meetings and ensuring that limited resources were deployed in the best way to maintain the company’s position as a market leader. Served as the companies CISO with responsibilities include securing the BetterCloud SaaS application which serves over 1,700 customers across 60+ countries. Also served as a technology visionary and thought leader in the IT and Security industries including advocating on how to use our own product to transform your business.

In this role, I managed Security, Compliance, Privacy, Information Technology, Enterprise Applications, Data Science and PMO departments with a global team of 48 employees in 4 countries with an annual budget over $11 million. I set, implemented, communicated, evaluated, and continually improved technology innovation, project management, and program enhancement strategies that positioned and sustained the company as an industry leader. Throughout my tenure, I delivered numerous transformations and optimizations, including rebuilding a global security & privacy team, integrating six newly acquired companies as a key M&A executive, delivering major improvements across the company and driving strategic technology capabilities.

I expanded my role from a security and compliance focus to manage broader IT and IS functions and departments. In this capacity, I set, implemented, evaluated, and continually improved technology and security strategies including accelerating the data science program. Infused a security mindset into the company’s culture by developing enhanced training, productivity, and performance management strategies. I am proud to have also created an Enterprise Project Management Office to improve execution of large cross functional projects and M&A integrations via project management frameworks, prioritization, and capacity planning, among other key deliverables.

Retained following Bullhorn’s acquisition of Peoplenet to manage Bullhorn’s global security and compliance teams. Leveraged CIS, SOC, and ISO frameworks to create a strategy to advance organizational security capabilities including Network Security, Application Security, Vulnerability Management, Threat Detection and Incident Response.

I was promoted to CIO to play a critical role in building the company’s technology and broader organizational from the ground up. In this capacity, I managed all aspects of company product infrastructure, including the Peoplenet.com SaaS application and time clocks. Throughout my tenure, I introduced numerous technology innovations to drive goal attainment across all company functions and oversaw all security, corporate IT, compliance, infrastructure, enterprise application, and business continuity functions.

In this strategic IT leadership role, I designed, built, and managed all aspects of the hybrid cloud infrastructure and security of Peoplenet.com SaaS application serving 500,000 users and 5,000 time clocks per day with 99.99% uptime. The application was responsible for ensuring that 2.5 Billion dollars of payroll was paid accurately and on time. Throughout my tenure, I also drove 100% system virtualization of SaaS application infrastructure using VMware while increasing capacity by 10x to support forecasted customer growth, among other key deliverables.
