NCCC: Summer of Service programMy service project was based out of Aurora, CO. I worked on a team of 12 who traveled to Arkansas and worked with Southern Arkansas University on infrastructure improvement projects, including dorm renovation and campus maintenance. Additionally, I helped assist in harvesting and donating food from the university gardens to a local nonprofit called Abilities Unlimited. At the end of the project I was awarded The Congressional Award, an award given by Congress to "recognize initiative, service, and achievement in young people."

As a retail associate, I gained strong interpersonal and sales skills by assisting customers, anticipating their needs, and improving their store experience.

I played a role in organizing diverse events, including art festivals and concerts. My responsibilities included conducting research, outreach, and communication with clients, vendors, and venues. As the on-site lead for over twenty events, I successfully managed a team of up to 15 staff members to ensure seamless execution.

During my time at Spero Media, I had the opportunity to work with clients such as Major League Baseball, The New York Jets, and The New York Liberty. I contributed to brainstorming sessions, helping develop creative concepts for ad campaigns targeting younger audiences. Additionally, I monitored media buys, delivered traffic instructions, and ensured spot delivery with stations and networks.

Primarly responsibility was to help keep the American University campus a safe place during the COVID-19 pandemic. The job required working with community members to ensure adherence to AU’s COVID-19 Health & Safety Directives. As well as helping American University's health promotion and advocacy center conduct COVID-19 testing.
