Hi, welcome to my profile! I'm Thomas Drake, a Central Michigan University Student and a Member Service Representative at HPC Credit Union. I'm a 19-year-old from the small town of Fairview, Michigan. Education has been and continues to be my main area of focus, as I have graduated from Fairview High School in 2022, and from Kirtland Community College in 2023, with two Associate Degrees: Business Administration, and Science and Arts. I graduated near the top of both my high school and college, as I ranked third in my high school class, and with Summa Cum Laude honors from Kirtland. I was also a part of honor societies during these times, as I was a part of National Honor Society during my junior and senior year of high school, and Phi Theta Kappa during my last year at Kirtland.I transferred from Kirtland to attend Central Michigan University full time. I'm in the process of earning a Bachelor's in Information System, which is part of Central Michigan's Business Administration program. Luckily for me, Central Michigan University offers this degree entirely online, which is the option I chose.My high school and college classes, along with the skills I've gained from working at the Fairview Food Market for over three years and at my new job at HPC Credit Union have allowed me to confidently decide on Information Systems as my major. I've always had a passion for technology, and have also discovered a major interest in business. Information Systems allows me to combine my passion and interest to find a career path that will suit me well, and I couldn't be more excited to continue learning, whether that be from my job, my classes, or from speaking to experienced people in my future field.
